Shake the Crave review

I'm going to be reviewing the Shake the Crave today! Kevin from trusted health products kindly sponsored me this wonderful drink. Shake the Crave is a brand new, incredibly delicious, guilt-free shake that fills you up, boosts your energy and helps you feel full longer.  Click here to learn more about Shake the Crave Shake Mix.

Organic Non-Fat Dry Milk, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Coconut Powder, Organic Ground Vanilla Bean (in Vanilla Shake Mix), Organic Cocoa Powder (in Chocolate Shake Mix), Electrolyte Blend (Potassium Citrate, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Potassium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride).
Allergen information: Contains milk and tree nuts (coconut).

We have accented this product with natural milk, cane sugar, coconut powder, and vanilla or cocoa giving you a total of 20 grams of sugar for the best possible result. This type of natural sugar converts to glucose quickly, which fuels ATP production in your body. ATP is what gives your body the energy to think, move, perform – it is the currency of your body and without it you can’t sustain life. This formulation will give you a smooth energy boost and help keep you full longer, plus it tastes great.

Pros; Sweet, thick and creamy chocolate drink. It does make me suprisingly filling even though I didn't finish the drink because I just didn't like the minty-ness in it.
Cons; The texture is powdery which was surprising, maybe it's cause I didn't mix it long enough. :(

Taste; Very chocolatey, quite sweet for my liking with a hint of minty-ness and a little bit of coconut.

Overall; Not my kinda drink because I personally don't like mint with chocolate so I don't like this drink at all. However, if you don't mind mint with chocolate, I think this drink would be a refreshing one for you! It would be a great drink for breakfast or even a lovely tea break!

No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush

Hello there! Today, I'm going to be reviewing the No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush. I found this as a cheaper alternative to the Clarasonic Brush that the beauty community has been raving on about since ages!
It claims: Gently exfoliates and deeply cleanses the skin, removing more dirt, oil and make-up than manual cleansing alone. Easy and quick to use discover super clean, soft, radiant and healthier looking skin in less than 60seconds.
For best results: Use a foaming cleanser or melting gel cleanser. Not recommended for very dry or sensitive skin. Dependent on use we recommend that you replace your brush head every 3-4 months to ensure the brushes performance is maintained. Replacement brush heads are available to purchase in store.
*Be careful of your hairline so as to not catch your hair in the device and take extra care around the eye area. It is important not to get cleanser in your eyes. Pressing the brush too hard on the skin will stop the brush from moving and impede the effectiveness of the device.

-Remove any eye make-up
-Apply your cleanser as normally instructed, leaving your cleanser generously covering your forehead, cheeks and chin.
-Wet the brush head and press the power button. The Cleansing Brush offers a choice of 2 speeds. Pressing the power button twice will increase the brush speed and will offer a deeper clean.
-Gently massage your face with small circular movements focusing on your forehead, cheeks and chin for about 30 seconds.
-Wash away cleanser with warm water.

The box itself has a very sleek modern design however for it's brush, it looks cheaply made because of the plastic. The brush's bristles are not as soft as I'd like them to be however dense.

I am so disappointed that this brush stopped working on me after a good 6 months! The main reason is because I use it during my shower and some water got into the electrical bits, so don't use it during your shower! The handle is not waterproof so you have to be careful when you're using. I was lucky to keep my receipt so I went to get a replacement.

For my first time, I can really tell that using this brush with the No7 foaming cleanser cleanses my face so much deeper than normal, and very soft. After a few times of using it, my skin decided to feel very dry. (I don't own a Clarasonic so I can't compare the effectiveness to it) I would recommend using this 2-3 times a week because it gives a exfoliating effect. I have sensitive skin however, it didn't cause me any break out but it does make my skin feel very dry if I use it too often.

Where to buy?:
You can purchase in store or online at Boots for £24.95! They often offer 3 for 2 and it's much cheaper that way! Or you might be able to hunt for it during their sales. - link

I don't hate nor do I love this product. It is okay to use it once in awhile but I wouldn't be rough when I'm using because if you press it harshly on your face when using it will feel rough. You have to becareful as well when using because it has caught my hair a couple of times. This brush runs in a turning motion which is completly different to the Clarasonic so I don't think it works the same. It's worth to get if you just want to try it out, you might turn out to liking or hating it.

ELF cosmetics haul!

Hello! Today I'm gonna be doing a E.L.F haul! ELF is also known as Eyes Lips Face. All products were purchased at It's a highly raved brand in the beauty community so I finally got the guts to buy a few of their products! I'm actually on a pretty tight financial situation due to moving to uni however, I gave in into ELF's subscription emails. It was too tempting! They had an offer on spend £20 get £15 worth of mystery bag +free shipping. How can I say no to that?
All products came safely in a cardboard box. I ordered it on 30-07-2014. It arrived on 2-08-2014. I only waited for 3 days for the package to come so it's pretty quick!

Products I purchased;
Eyelid Primer (Sheer) - £1.95
Studio Matte Lip Colour (Coral) - £3.95
Mineral Lipstick (Runway Pink) - £5.00

This is such a pretty nude lipstick! It's also highly raved in the blogging community. When I first got it I instantly thought of Candy Doll lipstick in Ramune pink! Don't you agree?

Studio Matte Lip Colour (Coral), I have heard loads of good stuff about this so I decided to try it! I heard it's drying for some, however I might pair this with a nude/clear lipgloss if it's drying. It's much more brighter in real life. The picture makes it look more of a nude colour.

I heard loads of good stuff about their brushes so I decided to purchase 3 in one go!

Here's my July Mystery Bag! They had three choices of Ruby slipper, Heartbreaker, Cherry Tart. I have chosen Heartbreaker cause I'm not a 'RED' product kinda girl. It just doesn't match my skin tone + facial features!
Products I got in my Mystery bag; Total of my mystery bag costs £18.40! Such a bargain. I have no idea why they gave me two of the same shade of liquid lipstick, I might just make the other one as my backup.
Studio Cream Blush (Heartbreaker)- £6.50
Nail Polish (Lilac) - £2.50
Luscious Liquid Lipstick (Perfect Pink) - £1.95
Luscious Liquid Lipstick (Perfect Pink) - £1.95
Mineral Eyeshadow (Wild) - £3.00

This is my first cream blush so I'm very excited to try it out! Thanks ELF! It looks rather similar to the topshop cream blush in Afternoon Tea

I'm still trying out mineral eyeshadows since I own some my own already.

Nail polish in Lilac. I'm not very confident in this dark shade because I love my pastel nails however I'll try this out!

Here is the end of my ELF haul! I know it's not a lot but I hope you enjoyed it. I think I'm beginning to become a shopaholic but I'll probably control myself after I bought that wing backpack on my wishlist. Haha.

Before I end this post, I would love to know what's your favourite item from ELF cosmetics? ♡(•ི̛ᴗ•̛)ྀ
I hope you all have a good day!
